Ministry of Human Resource Development underneath its National Mission on Education through data and Communication Technology has initiated the National Digital Library of India (NDL India) test to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. National Digital Library (NDLI) offers access to wide selection of digital contents. The NDLI provides freed from value access to several books in English and also the Indian languages. It is a digital repository containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media.
